As part of Christmas Open House on Sunday, December 8th from 1-5 pm, Historic Hope is hosting a holiday craft fair. Vendors will be set up in the Tyler room in the Heritage Center. The Booth fee is $20 for an 8 ft x 7 ft area. To reserve a booth, or for more information, contact Barbara at 252-794-3140. Please leave a message if no one answers. 13th Annual Family History & Genealogy Fair
We are thrilled to announce that we have scheduled our 13th Annual Family History and Genealogy Fair event for Saturday, July 27th from 9:30 am until 3:00 pm. Registration is now open and you can use the Book Now button or call our office.
Ives Lecture – Saturday, May 18th
We are pleased to announce that we our annual Ives Lecture is scheduled for Saturday, May 18th from 10:00 am until 3:30 pm. This year’s title is “Collections and Connections”. Dr. Steven Walker and his wife Lynn will speak on “Hope’s collection of art and ceramics and John Campbell and the Lazy Hill Collection”. Dr. Walker holds a degree in Archaeology and Ancient History and his Lynn is a widely recognized expert in 18th Century ceramics. More details to come.
