Christmas Candlelight Open House – Saturday, December 3rd

$20We are excited to host a Christmas Candlelight Open House of the Historic Hope Mansion on Saturday, December 3rd from 5:00 – 8:00 pm and we are having FUN planning it and hope you are able to join us. Samples of traditional 18th and 19th century foods and drinks will be available. This is just a sample of what will be served; Country Ham Biscuits, Collard Cornbread Sandwiches, Chicken Wafers and Crab Bites and for dessert Moravian Sugar Cookies, Gingerbread, Fruit Cake, Syllabub, and it would not be complete without Peanuts (both salted and sugared), washed down with Wassail, Wine, or Beer.
Come on out and enjoy this festive evening and partake in period comestibles. If you Register prior to December 1st for $20 or $25 at the door. To register, please call 252-794-3140 on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm or leave your name and telephone number and we will call you back as soon as possible. The Hope mansion is located on Hope House Road, just off of highway 308 west of Windsor.
