Jones, BFA, is Executive Director of the Chowan Discovery Group (CDG) whose purpose is to research, document, preserve and present the history of the Winton Triangle (Winton-Cofield-Ahoskie) Community in North Carolina. Jones will discuss family histories in the Roanoke Chowan areas where people maintain a distinctive identity rooted in Native American, European, and African ancestry. |
