“Bertie African Americans in North Carolina State Reconstruction Politics,” is the theme for this year’s Historic Hope Foundation’s 25th Anniversary African American Celebration.
Earl iJames, Curator, North Carolina Museum of History, is the Keynote Speaker for the two-session symposium on “Republicans from Reconstruction to Redemption.” Earl iJames is a board member of the North Carolina Freedom Monument Commission, North Carolina Civil War Sesquicentennial Committee, and Preservation North Carolina.
The event is on Saturday, February 10th, 2018, from 10 am to 1 pm at the Roanoke Chowan Heritage Center, Hope Plantation, Windsor, NC.
