19th Annual Elizabeth Stevenson Ives Lecture

Historic Hope Foundation presents the Ives Lecture: “Furniture of the Roanoke River Basin”, on Saturday, February 11th from 10 am to 3 pm. The lecture will focus on Roanoke River Valley furniture in the Hope mansion and King-Bazemore house. Additional pieces, many made by African American craftsmen, will be on exhibit. Speakers include Robert Leath, Curator of the Museum of Early Southern Decorative Art, Old Salem, and Gregory Tyler, Former Curator of Historic Hope. Registration is $40, which includes lunch.
